Can we all take a moment to notice the difference in their styles.

Here’s Steve with this great majestic kick into a standing position and then there’s Bucky.

Bucky is like he just got told to get out of his bed by his mum.

“Ugh why do I have to get up? What did I do to deserve this? Sure u flick up Steve like a dumb prancing pony whilst I crawl around in the dirt like a mealworm.”

#image#it honestly says a lot about their fighting styles though#steve is reckless – getting up fast to get to his shield but leaving his entire back exposed#to someone with a knife#like the epitome of stupidity but he’s relying on being faster#which he should know by that point in the fight isn’t a given with winter#whereas winter gets up in a way that keeps him low to the ground#out of sightlines potentially#and leaves him facing his opponent in a crouch that means he can attack fast and powerfully as soon as he’s upright again#but also reckless in his own way#his back and the back of his head is facing steve for a good while#and that’s the drop of hydra in it#they don’t care if he gets hurt#so they never taught him one of the most important things about close quarters fighting#never take your eyes off your opponent#anyways i’ll shut up#steve rogers#bucky barnes#winter [x]
