A word for middle/upper class people:

You do not, ever, have the right to come forward to a poor person and ask them “shouldn’t you be saving? :/” whenever they buy/attempt to buy something nice for themselves. 

This isn’t me trashing anyone, it’s just that when you do this, you are saying that we do not deserve nice things and that to deserve them at all, we need to save until we’re out of poverty. It doesn’t matter if that’s “not what you mean”, that’s. What. It means. 

What poor people don’t deserve, is to live in poverty with nothing to bring them happiness, and to suffer complete discomfort and boredom due to their financial situation. Learn to shut your mouth.
